Saba Hameed is an ex pat. She is now settled in Vienna, Austria. She is living with her husband who his a chemical engineer in suburbs of Vienna. Saba misses her mother and family back in Pakistan. She feels a gap in her life.
However life in Vienna is great for her. She is an art lover and art and culture have a long tradition in Vienna, including theater, opera, classical music and fine arts. Saba loves the architectural styles that can be found in Vienna, such as the Romanesque Ruprechtskirche and the Baroque Karlskirche. Styles range from classicist buildings to modern architecture. Art Nouveau left many architectural traces in Vienna.
Saba often visits museums in Vienna. There are a multitude of other museums in Vienna, including the Military History Museum, the Technical Museum, the Vienna Clock Museum and the Burial Museum. The museums dedicated to Vienna’s districts provide a retrospective of the respective districts.
She is utilizing her free time by completing her graduate studies from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.
No matter how beautiful, cultured and elegent Viana is, Saba’s heart stays in Karachi, where her family and childhood friends are!
